Electromagnetic flowmeters are the most precise instruments for measuring conductive liquids. Utilizing Faraday’s Law of Electromagnetic Induction, they achieve exceptionally accurate flow measurement with nearly zero pressure loss. FREHNIG was one of the first companies in India to develop indigenous technology for these flowmeters, starting in 1999. As the leading manufacturer in South India, Frehnig has installed around 30,000 meters, and the extensive experience from this large installed base has been incorporated into the design of the FMF-2301.
The FMF 2301 features a single measurement and output board, significantly enhancing system reliability. This design also facilitates easy and straightforward servicing.
The FMF-2301 features a state-of-the-art 24-bit ADC and the latest microcontroller, providing a highly accurate and high-resolution measurement system. Its analog front end is designed to handle signals effectively, even in environments with high process noise.
The FMF-2302 features a heavy duty transformer based power supply and Industrial Grade Electronics with stringent quality control and testing, including power cycling before wet calibration
The separate version of the electronics is the preferred choice for installation because:
a) It provides easier visibility of the readings.
b) It ensures inherent safety, as the electronics can be placed in a secure and environmentally safe location.
c) It prevents the transfer of process temperature and vibration to the electronics.
Additionally, the new enclosure is IP67 certified for enhanced safety.
The sensors are designed for durability, featuring an extra-thick PTFE lining and a coil housing made of extra-thick steel for extended lifespan. 3mm grounding rings provide solid ground contact, enhancing accuracy while also serving as excellent lining protectors. The sensor is fully welded to ensure ingress protection, and a stainless steel material of construction (MOC) is also available.
Activate Each meter is wet calibrated for performance in a state-of-the-art flow calibration laboratory, adhering to the gravimetrico Sett ISO-4185 standard.

An ultra-modern state of the art Flow Calibration lab has been set up to aid in the wet calibration of all flowmeters.
The Flow lab consists of two state of the art stainless steel rigs with the state of the art instrumentation, data acquisition and calibration software. The rig confirms to ISO-4185 standards and has been designed fabricated and commissioned 100% in-house.
The calibration lab will enable FREHNIG to support all its customers with a Nationally traceable calibration and detailed performance reports. Because of the fully automatic rig calibration can be done in a shorter time.
The rig also supports comparison calibration method for faster calibration time. FREHNIG is committed to providing reliable, repeatable and traceable calibration which is also affordableto all its customers.

All supporting hardware for Frehnig products are available. These include IOT devices for transfer of data to cloud via GPRS and interconnection of devices using wirelss LoRa nodes. External modbus adapters are available for safety. Datalogging software of offline and online application with database is also available. All products are manufactured.
